Pink Saturday – Just Love Pink

It’s Pink Saturday again at Cottage Dreamer! Thanks to Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for once more hosting this fun day of sharing all things Pink!
Last week I posted pictures of the wreath I have on my kitchen table. I did go out last Saturday and got a pink candle to go in the center to replace the green one I had in there before. It’s a very pretty pink candle that has a wonderful fresh spring floral scent. The candle is much more pink that it appears in this photo.
When I walked into HomeGoods I was greeted by a display that featured the following bunny. I just couldn’t resist it. I love Dana’s blog The Stone Rabbit and wanted to add this Stone Bunny to my home.
My Bunny is currently trying out different locations in my home to see where he’d like to live. Right now he’s sitting next to the fireplace in the living room, but he’s not quite sure it’s the perfect place for him. I do know he wasn’t happy to be sitting under the small table I have close to the entry. He felt like he wasn’t part of the action. lol
While taking pictures in the kitchen I took a few of the painted plaque I have on the top of my hutch. I’ll post them here, but I may take in down to get better shots of it and post them sometime later. This plaque is another one of my Debi Coules collection.
And lastly, I’ve been slowly going through the boxes of stuff that I stored out in the garage when my remodeling was done. This week’s finds included this handpainted cake stand:

How absolutely wonderful! Beverly sure knew what she was doing when she created a place for all of us “pinkies” to congregate and share our “pinkness”.
Happy Mother’s Day to you. I hope you find yourself surrounded by those you love, good food, and a gentle peace in your ♥. We don’t need to be a mother to know a mother’s life. After all we all started out with a mom, didn’t we?☺

Ahhhhh, The Stone Rabbit says your Bunny is WONDERFUL!!! He also agreed that no bunny should be placed under a table!! That’s right–they DO want to be part of the action!!
I loved your pink plaque and the beautiful bunny dishes on the shelf beneath it. Your Pink candle certainly looks great in your candle ring!!
I hope you have a great PINK Sat. and a wonderful Mother’s Day!! Will your son bring the dog over?

Hi Sandra,
I was laughing at Bootsy in the previous post and laughed even more when you said you needed to dust! LOL! I have a Bootsie (different spelling) well, she actually belongs to my sister and her husband. My hubby and I think that she’s our very own dog. She’s a tiny thing and brave too. She thinks nothing of going up to big giant dogs and making a stance with her little bitty hind legs…she’s a riot!
I loved the painted plaque with the roses. I’ve been changing up my apartment to make it Shabby Chic and it’s been quite a job. I had to get rid of all the modern decor and make way for all of my lovely treasures. I can’t wait until I’m finished!
