Hi Sandra, first visit to your blog! My mom has the same nativity..I would love to find one for my own self..I have my nana’s that is from the 1920′s, check my blog next week, we are still unpacking from our move and decorating I will have it displayed in time for next weeks blog..

You were just too adorable for words. I can’t believe you still have so many photos from that year. I was born in Jan. of 1944 and I think I could maybe find three or four photos taken before the 60′s but none of Christmas. What wonderful memories. Thanks for sharing, Mollye

I, too, was 3 at Christmas 1949 – don’t remember a thing. You were lucky with your shoes, not only were mine brown they were ‘high tops’ because I had ‘weak ankles’ – had to wear that kind until 1st grade.

I have photos of Christmas when I was 4 and older with my sisters – am going to try to make a mini Christmas photo album for them.
