While the color isn’t exactly Pink, these tags, I think, are close enough. I hope you will enjoy these tags I’ve created with vintage images. Two weeks ago I was fortunate enough to be included in Bev’s blog as a featured site. Thank you so much to those of you who came to visit and commented. It’s always nice to hear that you enjoyed something you found on my site.

This week I’ve got a graphic for you. It’s a scan I did of a vintage iron-on applique. And of course it’s got Pink Roses in it. There are many things you can do with it and since it was scanned at 300 dpi you can even print it out larger than the approximate 5″ x 5″ that is currently. I can see this being printed out on printable fabric and then turned into a pincushion, or part of a pillow, or even to decorate a pocket on a vintage-looking apron. Or you could print it out in the size you need to put into a mixed-media project.

Each week Bev asks us to feature another blog and this week I’d like to mention is Vintage Porcelain Art. Amy does some of the most beautiful vintage-style china painting I have seen. This week in my mail one of the weekly newsletters I received was from Daisy Company, a place where you can find all kinds of wonderful graphics, printables, and more. This week’s freebie is a very pretty pink Mother’s Day card. I immediately thought that it would be perfect for Pink Saturday. I went to the site and downloaded it along with two other “pretty pinks” that I’ve listed below. Just click on the image and it will take you to the page that the item is featured on Daisie Company’s site.

I just can’t wait for Spring. This seems like a way too long Winter and I’m ready for flowers, sunshine, and no more snow on the ground. This is the first year in a long time that I can remember the ground being covered with snow almost all Winter long. I want to open the windows and hear the birds singing. I want to sit out on my patio and watch the trees come into bloom. I’m going to really appreciate this Spring!

PS After I got this post done I realized I had posted these roses before many months ago. I hope some of you may not have seen them before – or maybe there are others like me who save things and then forget where the heck I put them on my HD.

The first one is Crafty Mumz Creations. One of the big Freebies she has is an entire book that you can print out to keep track of your Christmas traditions, recipes, memories, reminders, gifts to make, and on and on. She even gives you the templates so you can make up a book with your own sections. This is one very generous lady and I haven’t even scratch the surface of what else she has to offer.

I just found this fantastic site – got there from a link on Crafty Mumz. It’s Creating Christmas which has examples and links to dozens of Freebies.

This site has more than just free printables, it has free patterns as well. It’s Craft Ideas. I’ve been looking for information on making felt ornaments and other things and they have many links. Looks like I’ll be very busy this afternoon.

It’s Pink Saturday again at Cottage Dreamer! Thanks to Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for once more hosting this fun day of sharing all things Pink!

This week I’ve got a free set of (mostly) “Pretty Pink Tags” that I designed awhile ago. I used some of my favorite die cuts to create these tags. If you do use them, I’d love to see what you come up with.

These work very well being printed on cardstock and then could be embellished.

I was going through some graphics I made in the past looking for something to give away on this Pink Saturday. I came across a group of stationary that I’d made and hope you can use them. The set contains three notes that are self-envelopes. Just the thing for a quick thank you note or maybe an invitation to tea. I’d suggest printing them out on cardstock to make it mailable. Just write your note inside, fold it up, put a seal or tape on the back and put the address in the provided area. Hope you enjoy them.

I was going through my collection of graphics the other day and thought some of you might be able to make use of these Vintage Santas. They come from Vintage Post Cards. Click on the image below to be taken to the full-sized image in a PDF file and save it to your hard drive.

Things you can do with these:

• Print them out on fabric and make sachets or bowl fillers
• Use them to make tree ornaments that you can embellish with glitter, buttons, trim, etc.
• Make them into tags for presents.
• Create your own Christmas cards.

Over the next few months I’ll post more sheets like these and also post ideas for how to use them.

This week I’m offering everyone a contact sheet that features various sizes of a pink rose. I’ve been collecting die-cuts for quite some time now. I just love their vintage feel. You could print these out and use them in all kinds of art projects. Or you could print them out on fabric and incorporate them into a sewing project. You could even print them out on transfer paper and apply them to just about any craft you could think of. Hope you enjoy them and Happy Pink Saturday!

I love doing graphics and thought this week I’d make a gift for all those who come to visit my blog. It’s a mat that you can use for scrapbooking, making a card, or even printing out and using as a mat for a frame. If you do use the image and make something, I’d love to see pictures of what you come up with.

I’d recommend using a heavier weight paper such as cardstock.
