I thought a nice way to spend a bit of my Monday would be to do a bit of surfing and look for Freebies that I could use for making some Christmas decorations. And what better way to spread the word about these wonderful gifts but to post about them.

The first one is Crafty Mumz Creations. One of the big Freebies she has is an entire book that you can print out to keep track of your Christmas traditions, recipes, memories, reminders, gifts to make, and on and on. She even gives you the templates so you can make up a book with your own sections. This is one very generous lady and I haven’t even scratch the surface of what else she has to offer.

I just found this fantastic site – got there from a link on Crafty Mumz. It’s Creating Christmas which has examples and links to dozens of Freebies.

This site has more than just free printables, it has free patterns as well. It’s Craft Ideas. I’ve been looking for information on making felt ornaments and other things and they have many links. Looks like I’ll be very busy this afternoon.

Hope you enjoy these links – and if you have any other sites please feel free to put them in the Comments.

Here’s two of my own Printable Freebies that you can download and use in creating your own personal Christmas decorations.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas – Isn’t it?

It’s Pink Saturday again at Cottage Dreamer! Thanks to Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for once more hosting this fun day of sharing all things Pink!

I found two ornaments for my tree that will be in my pink bedroom. There just doesn’t seem to be as many as I remember from past years.

The first is a very pretty ballerina in a pink costume. She’s made of porcelain and has movable arms, legs, and head. I got her for under $5.00 at American Sales – a pool and spa shop that turns into a winter wonderland soon after October. I was in there looking for my bedroom tree. Most of the pink ornaments were for Baby’s First Christmas. Looks like I’m going to be making a lot of my own ornaments in the next few weeks.

About the pictures – I didn’t realize until I started cropping the picture of the ballerina that it looks like she only has one leg. Umm, the second picture shows how the other leg is bent to the back. :-)

When I was at Michael’s I found this next ornament. It’s sort of a mixed media piece – gives me some ideas of things I could do in making my own. It’s a bit hard to see the pink, but there are hints of pink throughout – including the back being a pale shade of pink.

Starting tomorrow I’m going to post images of my progress to decorate my condo. It’s been several years since I went all-out and I want to do it up this year.

Also, thanks to everyone who has made a comment or does make one. I really appreciate them.

Hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving and I’m looking forward to all the celebrating in December, which besides the holidays, is my dad and my birthday month.
